Senator Inhofe (R, OK) voted against banning torture.He believes global warming is a hoax.
He was "outraged by the outrage" concerning the Abu Ghiraib abuse.
He frequently cites the Bible as his source for political stances (e.g. gay rights, abortion).
He agrees with Bush that there should be a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriages.
We can do something about it.
Let's prevent the reelection of this Oklahoma senator:
I received an email from DFA (Democracy for Action) this evening. DFA asked me to donate money to Andrew Rice (D) in opposition to Inhofe's reelection. I know nothing about Andrew Rice other than what I've read about him in the last hour, but I am familiar with Congress Inhofe and his stance on the issues. I've donated $25 towards Andrew Rice's campaign for a Senate seat, I ask you to read about both candidates before considering a similar donation. If a donation doesn't suit your style, then let's at least Digg this up and see if we can influence change.

note: I don't see a link to donate on Andrew's website, but actblue.com (which appears to be DFA's fundraising site) is taking donations. As I write this, actblue.com has raised $15,268 in support of Andrew's campaign.
